Entries will be accepted in the Grange Hall Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm and Friday from 1:00 to 4:30pm. See rules and categories below. 

Entry Form – please print and attach one completed form per entry to the back of your photograph.

 Contest Rules

1. This contest is open to anyone, regardless of age. Professional photographers are not eligible. The person entering the contest must have taken the photographs submitted.
2. There is no entry fee to enter this contest.
3. The photographer’s entry form must be signed and attached to the back of every photograph submitted to the contest.
4. Each photographer may enter a maximum of two (2) photographs in each of the five (5) categories.
5. Photographer must enter as an Adult or as a Youth (under 14 years as of 7/1/25).
6. Photographs must be between 8×10” and 8.5 x 11″ with no matte, mounting board, frames, or glass.
7. The contest judge reserves the right to recategorize entries.
8. No photographs previously entered in the Hamburg Fair contest will be accepted.
9. All entries will be accepted in the Lyme’s Grange Hall only, Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm and Friday from 1:00 to 4:30pm. Judging will take place Friday at 5:00pm during which time the gallery will be closed.
10. In fairness to all fairgoers and other exhibitors, photographs must remain on exhibit until 5:00pm Sunday and may be picked up beginning at that time.
11. The Hamburg Fair Committee will not be responsible for any damaged or lost photographs submitted to the contest.
12. All entries become the property of the Hamburg Fair Committee for its publicity, marketing, and advertising purposes. They cannot be sold or assigned to a third party without a written agreement with the photographer.
13. The photographer assumes full responsibility for obtaining permission from the subjects to submit their image(s) to the contest.

2025 CT Photo Contest
Sponsored by the Association of Connecticut Fairs
The theme for the annual photo contest is “Connecticut Fairs.” The photos submitted should show general scenes around our member fairs. Photos must have been taken after September 30, 2024. The photos entered do not have to be exhibited at any member fairs to be eligible.
