Lyme Grange #147

The Hamburg Fair has been a tradition in Lyme since 1887.  For over 118 years, the fair has brought together the agricultural communities in the region to share its heritage, nostalgia and fun filled experiences for generations to enjoy.  The fair has reflected so much of what makes this a vital community event that cares about its friends and neighbors and to be there for future generations to benefit from.

During its 118 year history, the Fairgrounds were empty only 6 times.  Four of those years during World War II and for the last two years during the recent Coronavirus crisis. This year, the Hamburg Fair Committee stands proudly and announces that “The Hamburg Fair is Back!”  This August 19, 20 and 21st will be the return of the fair, offering “More to see and more to do.”

While staying with some of our traditional agricultural themes we are planning more top notch musical entertainment, expanded thrilling amusement rides, family friendly activities, agricultural educational programs and events along with expanded food choices and Beer and Wine!

As of 2022, The Friends of Hamburg Fair is a 501(c)(3) Organization.
